Getting to Belize from the United States

Over the past number of years we have traveled to and from Belize dozens of times. So far we have only experienced air travel.  While many have driven through Mexico, this is an adventure for a future time.

As far as we know the following airlines fly into Belize from the Continental US:

1. Delta Airlines
2. Continental Airlines
3. American Airlines
4. TACA Airlines
5. US Airways

The one thing we have found is the price is much higher November thru March than April thru October. Of course the demand for travel to Belize is high during the winter months. (High Season)

The best deal we have received in the past few years was Delta last October. Our tickets per person round trip averaged 400.00 each. Many years ago we would sometimes drive to Houston Texas and to get a 400.00 deal from IAH to BZE.

Now we are exploring the concept of flying to Cancun Mexico and getting a bus into Belize City. Once we do this, I will get back with you on how it went.
